As a student at UCLA, you are part of the Bruin community for life. Embrace the numerous traditions centered around excellence, spirit, and service that define the True Bruin experience during your time at UCLA, and you will be acknowledged as a True Bruin Traditions Keeper upon graduation. Some of these traditions include:

• Getting "Bruintized"
• Attending a UCLA sporting event
• Participating in Spring Sing
• Joining Volunteer Day activities
• Enrolling in a recreation class through the John Wooden Center
• Participating in career-building workshops
• Taking a picture in front of Royce Hall
• Engaging in a research project

With over 100 different traditions to choose from, you have the opportunity to select those that resonate with you, shaping your unique True Bruin journey. By fulfilling the necessary number of traditions before your graduation, you will receive the True Bruin Traditions Keeper medal, a distinction worn proudly at Commencement. This initiative is spearheaded by UCLA's New Student & Transition Programs and Alumni Relations.
